Join AGS Stainless at our Continuing Education Academy Session, "Utilizing Offsite Fabrication To Lessen the Impact of a Shrinking Skilled Labor Pool."
WHEN: Friday, October 25th, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
WHAT: Today builders are feeling the impact of a tightening labor market. One of the ways architects can assist builders to keep their project timelines on track — even as securing additional skilled labor becomes more difficult — is to include prefabricated (built off-site) architectural products in their projects. Utilizing prefabricated architectural products allows the builder to make greater use of lower skilled workers in the construction of the project. Prefabricated architectural products also reduce project waste and shorten product installation time.

This year AIA California is excited to be holding the Monterey Design Conference for the 25th time. Held every other year, this event has become known as the architect's retreat. It brings together the country’s—and the world’s—leading architects and design thinkers for an intellectually vibrant weekend at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California. Insights from emerging architects and an array of continuing education options will round out the weekend. Drawing more than 800 attendees from California and across the nation, you will leave with insights and inspiration, bringing you back to the reasons you became an architect in the first place.
