This before and after features Olympus Horizontal Bar Railing. In the loft, there is a pool table and a foosball table. The room features big windows that let in natural light that shines down in the main level living areas. The original railings had simple vertical wood balusters. And the problem was they darkened the entire home. Your eyes make a mental stop at the dark wood railings.
We had the original 1979 railings until 2017…AGS Stainless designed the railing system, and we installed it. It was straightforward to install, and the factory was right there every step of the way to help and answer questions.
We stripped the carpet off the stairs and sanded everything. The stairs going down to the basement were rebuilt with a reclaimed truck deck from Route 66 carriers. We opted to add our own hand railing, which was made from the reclaimed wood…
There are so many options available. We had a hard time choosing, but we are very happy with our choice. I would highly recommend AGS Stainless.
