Our 850 square-foot ipe deck in Northern California has been regally crowned with AGS railing in 316 stainless: glass infill along the windward edge, and cable for the staircase.
Despite our contractor’s reluctance to work with prefabricated materials, sight unseen, all fears were silenced when we received our shipment and began assembly. The materials are gorgeous, the welds flawless, the weight is substantial and finish sublime. The design is incredibly harmonious, complementing our evolving Japanese garden and modern minimalist hardware and entry. Attention to detail and clever innovation are in evidence everywhere, from the set-screw splines that join our flat-top rail to the spot-on fulfillment of custom handrail returns.
