Chuck Schmahl joined AGS Stainless in 2014, bringing a strong construction background and experience as a general contractor. As a Commercial Project Estimator, he works with architects, general contractors, builders, and project owners to develop railing solutions for commercial, hospitality, institutional, and multifamily projects.
Chuck specializes in project estimating, scope development, and technical coordination, helping customers navigate projects from initial budgeting and design development through engineering and fabrication. He works closely with Brandon Schmahl and Zach Toglia as part of a team focused on developing AGS Stainless's large-project business, building customer relationships, and pursuing complex opportunities.
Chuck works with AGS's full line of custom-engineered stainless steel railing systems for balconies, decks, stairways, and a wide range of commercial and hospitality projects. One notable project he has worked on is the Thompson Hotel in Palm Springs, a five-star luxury hotel.
When customers ask, "How much will this cost per foot?" Chuck understands that the answer depends on the many variables involved in a custom railing system. Rather than offering a number that may not reflect the final design, he works closely with clients to refine the scope and dial in the cost, helping them establish a reliable budget and move forward with confidence.
Outside of work, Chuck enjoys traveling, golfing, exploring wine, cooking, and spending quality time with his wife, Ellen, and their family.
