At AGS Stainless, our philosophy is simple: we choose the quality fabrication path, not the quickest one. This commitment to excellence transforms a functional safety feature into a permanent architectural masterpiece.

The process begins with your vision. You provide a simple drawing or a set of basic dimensions of your space, and we understand that because every home is unique, a perfect fit is non-negotiable. Our expert design team takes your initial sketch and translates it into high-precision CAD drawings. We work closely with you, reworking the digital blueprint until it is perfect. By resolving potential architectural challenges in the virtual phase, we eliminate the guesswork of on-site modifications and ensure every post and rail is engineered to the millimeter.

5 Pillars of AGS Fabrication

  • 316 Marine Grade Steel
We prioritize 316 stainless steel over 304 for its superior resistance to salt-water corrosion and pitting.
  • Welded Stem Reducers
Unlike competitors who use adhesives, we weld our stem reducers to ensure lifelong structural integrity.
  • Seamless Mounting
We weld a single, seamless mounting bracket to eliminate the errors and “clunky” look of mechanical screw attachments.
  • Artisan TIG Welding
Our “scalpel-like” TIG welding process provides beautiful, splatter-free joints that are stronger and more corrosion-resistant.
  • Gapless Base Covers
We engineer our escutcheons with precision-joined corners, eliminating the unsightly gaps found in mass-produced alternatives.

Our philosophy is simple, we choose the quality fabrication path, not the quickest one.

Once the design is perfected, our artisans take over. While other manufacturers often rely on adhesives or mechanical fasteners to cut costs, AGS utilizes advanced Marine Grade Manufacturing to create monolithic strength. We specialize in 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, which contains molybdenum to resist salt-air corrosion and chemical pitting far better than the standard 304 grade.

Our fabrication is defined by the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) weld. If MIG welding is the industrial “hot glue gun,” TIG is the “controlled scalpel.” This method produces a weld so clean and beautiful—resembling a precise “stack of dimes”—that many customers leave them exposed as a modern design feature.

Identifying Railing Quality

AGS expert Kevin Harris walks you through ways you can distinguish markers of quality in railing systems.

After the structural work is complete, we meticulously cut, finish, and polish every component. From seamless mounting brackets to “gapless” base plate covers, we obsess over the details that ensure a professional finish. Every piece undergoes a rigorous quality check before being carefully wrapped in specialized packaging. We organize and label each part so they are easy to identify, unpack, and set up.

When your AGS system arrives, it is a true “plug-and-play” experience—prefabricated, numbered, and ready to be bolted down. When you choose AGS, you are investing in a legacy of American craftsmanship designed to make a statement and last a lifetime.
