Professional Spotlight: Strider Group – Lane Meadows Development

January 14, 2019 by Kari Durrant

Nestled in Sun Valley, Idaho, is a brand new modern subdivision of ten spec homes. Developed by Strider Group, Lane Meadows is mountain modern architecture: an entire micro-neighborhood where every custom home is unique and focused on an ethos of livability, quality, and efficiency.

Located in the heart of Blaine County, Idaho, Sun Valley is a unique and beautiful place that brings together Idaho’s oldest destination ski resort, scenic mountains, friendly communities, and productive farms and ranches. The authentic small town, big life experience is as humbling and pristine as the mountains and rivers that surround the area. The appeal of Sun Valley –the original mountain town- is a life lived in a down to earth, open arms-open hearts sort of way.

Lane Meadows

Lane Meadows development was intentionally built from the start. At the center of the overall design for the subdivision was the term “livability”. Livability is that ultimate mix of factors – beauty, simplicity, efficiency, low maintenance, energy efficient, environmentally conscious, a mix of gathering and private spaces, quality, craftsmanship – that brings forth a home that supports and enhances a lifestyle. The result of Strider Group’s focus is a beautiful home and neighborhood that is built to be lived-in and loved for generations.

Lane Meadows was intentional downsized from 13 residential lots to 10. This allowed the creation of a neighborhood focused on community, with larger shared common space. Referred to as “the peanut” a winding road and sidewalk circling around the half-acre common area, a place meant for slowing down life and just enjoy walking your dog.

Each home is designed and crafted with the likeness of Sun Valley’s lifestyle. Entering into a mudroom for warm welcomes and a place to store outdoor activity accessories. Following into a large great room, place for family gatherings and traditions, flowing into the kitchen, dining room and open living spaces. Private spaces feature ample storage, Porcelanosa tile throughout bathrooms, and Mountain views of cliffs and south valley mountains. Lane Meadows homes are crafted for quality of life and also in beautiful long lasting materials, like Alaskan Yellow and Western Red Cedar Siding, Zinc standing seam roofing, and SIPs (structural insulated panels) paneling. The results are a home that fit’s into today’s active and busy lifestyle. A home that has the ultimate livability.
