About the Innovative Housing Showcase
The Innovative Housing Showcase is a three-day event hosted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). Policymakers, industry leaders, and exhibitors from all over the united states will be at the National Mall in Washington, DC, to promote and explore affordable housing solutions for American families. The exhibition will demonstrate innovative new building technologies that address affordability and the future of housing. Exhibits will include full-sized prototype homes that will be open to the public.

This event is open to the public anyone can attend IHS2023. Policymakers, private sector housing industry representatives, and the general public will visit Washington DC’s outdoor expo.

The event allows government officials and lawmakers to meet with industry thought leaders to work together to develop new strategies and solutions to address the growing housing demand facing communities nationwide. The showcase displays innovative ideas to help Americans access affordable housing and homeownership. Visitors can tour a showcase of more than a dozen prototype homes and see exhibitor demonstrations that will impact the future of housing.
